The NOS IMT is a cross line office team that coordinates before, during, and after emergency events to assess and communicate potential impacts to NOS personnel, mission, and infrastructure as well as preparation and recovery efforts.

“While TS Calvin did not result in significant impacts to NOS, this activation provided an opportunity to practice our readiness and serve as a reminder for our responsibilities for the remainder of the season” says Jessica White, Incident Coordinator for the Tropical Storm Calvin NOS IMT Activation and OR&R’s Disaster Preparedness Program’s Deputy Director.
