The following list documents the changes and additions made to the ALOHA Arc Tools.

Note: As of May 2009, the tool will only be maintained for ArcMap 9.3 or later. The ArcView 3.x Import Extension and some of the older ArcMap Import Tools (the aloha_92.dll and the aloha_91.dll) will continue to be available in their current versions, but they will not be updated. To download these tools, follow the links at the top of this page.

ArcMap Import Tools

aloha_92.dll for use in ArcMap 9.2, 9.3, and 10.0

  • June 27, 2011: Updated to version 2.1.2. This version eliminated the placing of a point graphic, which was being done incorrectly, at the origin of the footprint.
  • June 25, 2007: Updated to version 2.1.1. This version (1) modified the spatial reference of the imported footprint (threat zone) from NAD83 to WGS84 to accommodate users outside of the U.S. and (2) eliminated difficulties with special characters found in the level(s) of concern.
  • March 15, 2007: Released original version.

aloha_91.dll file for use in ArcMap 9.0 or 9.1

  • March 15, 2007: Updated.
  • January 4, 2007: Released original version.

aloha_9.dll file for use in ArcMap 9.x

  • January 4, 2007: Replaced by aloha_91.dll.
  • April 29, 2005: Released original version. This version fixed a bug that existed in the aloha_8.dll version, in which the use of release units other than parts per million caused the tool to fail.

aloha_8.dll file for use in ArcMap 8.x

  • October 1, 2010: Stopped offering the aloha_8.dll.
  • April 29, 2005: Updated. This version fixed a minor bug. However, this version still has a bug that causes the tool to fail when release units other than parts per million are used.
  • July 23, 2004: Released original version.

ArcView 3.x Import Extension

aloha.avx file for use in ArcView 3.x

  • April 10, 2001: Released original version.
