2021 LEPC-Tribal Conference and Hazardous Materials Workshop

April 19, 2021 — On April 15 Lieutenant Commander Faith Knighton, Scientific Support Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest, presented an Office of Response and Restoration and Emergency Response Division overview at the virtual 2021 LEPC-Tribal Conference and Hazardous Materials Workshop hosted by the Washington State Emergency Response Commission.

This conference is provided through a collaborative effort of state agencies and Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPC). The purpose of the conference is to increase compliance of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, help increase LEPC knowledge, and how to access and share information. LEPCs are organizations that consist of emergency responders, industry, government, education, media, and community groups.
