On Tuesday, two OR&R staff had a rare opportunity--lunch with Dr. Sullivan.

The chance to meet with the head of NOAA stemmed from an email, offering limited seats at a brownbag lunch to the first staff to RSVP. Twenty NOAA staff from across line offices in Silver Spring, including Meg Imholt and Natalie Richardson from OR&R attended the meeting.

After brief introductions, Dr. Sullivan took questions ranging from her vision for NOAA to how to wash your hands in space. She emphasized her priorities for NOAA, particularly achieving organizational excellence and providing coastal intelligence.

This opportunity is part of what Dr. Sullivan hopes to be a regular event.
