Hudson-Delaware Chapter - Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry

MAY 5, 2017--Seton Hall University hosted a two-day Hudson-Delaware Chapter meeting of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (HDC-SETAC).

The theme of the April 26-27 meeting was "Environmental Fate, Toxicity, and Risk Assessment of Bioavailable Compounds in the Environment". OR&R Assessment and Restoration Division’s Reyhan Mehran and Lisa Rosman participated in the meeting, which included a range of presentations including the effects of PCB-126 and dioxin (TCDD) to early life stages of zebrafish and Atlantic sturgeon. There was also a short course on next generation sequencing.
