Submerge: NYC Marine Science Festival, an all-day, free ocean science event to be held on October 5, 2014, focuses on delivering hands-on activities and compelling presentations.

The Science Lounge will be open from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm in Tribeca, New York City. The NOAA Marine Debris Program’s very own Keith Cialino will be Tackling Marine Trash, exposing truths and dispelling myths about marine debris and imparting a few reliable ways for New Yorkers to make a difference.
