Marine Debris at the Roger Williams University School of Law’s 10th Marine Law Symposium

NOVEMBER 10, 2016--The Marine Debris Program’s Northeast Regional Coordinator, Keith Cialino, presented at the Roger Williams University School of Law 10th Marine Law Symposium on Friday, November 4.

The symposium focused on legal and policy approaches to reduce marine debris in the New England region. Other speakers included Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (RI), Dr. Sandra Whitehouse (Ocean Conservancy), and Jonathan Stone (Save the Bay), as well as representatives from state government agencies and nongovernmental organizations. The day-long event resulted in information sharing and networking among attendees.
