Marine Debris Talks Behavior Change at the 2016 NERRS Annual Meeting

DECEMBER 2, 2016--On November 15, the NOAA Marine Debris Program (MDP) teamed up with the National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) Education sector at the NERRS 2016 Annual Meeting in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The MDP’s Krista Stegemann and Emma Tonge attended meeting activities for the day and presented to the NERRS Education Coordinators about marine debris prevention efforts through education and outreach, with a focus on behavior change. The presentation was an opportunity to further connect these two groups in their common goal of learning more about the field of behavior change.
