New and Improved ResponseLink to be Launched Soon!

AUGUST 5, 2016--An updated version of ResponseLink is going live in early August.

ResponseLink is an internal NOAA website which the Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R) develops and uses to share information during oil spill or other pollution response operations with NOAA and our federal, state, and local government partners. OR&R deploys staff on-scene to approximately 10 pollution-related incidents a year and tracks around 140 incidents a year on ResponseLink. From photos and field reports to spill trajectories and overflight maps, ResponseLink enables NOAA and our partners in response, no matter their location, to stay up-to-date and collaborate more effectively during the chaos of spills across the country. Highlights of the newly updated ResponseLink include a redesigned, responsive user interface for mobile- and tablet-friendly viewing; a new dashboard-style home page which gives a quick overview of active responses (reducing clicks to sub-pages); and a new map view of our historical catalog of incidents, offering insights to regional trends.

The new site will be available at: https://responselink.orr.noaa.gov/

For further information, contact David.Wesley@noaa.gov or Nickie.Scillo@noaa.gov.
