MAY 26, 2017--On May 22, the Marine Debris Program (MDP) excitedly announced the launch of their new blog.

This announcement marked the end of a year-long effort to transfer NOAA's Marine Debris Blog from WordPress to a new .gov platform, facilitating improved integration between the blog and the NOAA Marine Debris Program website. Features of the new blog remain consistent with that of the WordPress platform, with minimal interruption to blog users.
At the new location, the Marine Debris Blog will continue to share marine debris information, inspiring stories, and news to keep users informed about the world of marine debris.
