MAY 6, 2016--On May 4, 2016, OR&R Emergency Response Division staff were honored with Excellence in Public Service awards at the Seattle Federal Executive Board Celebration of Public Service.

The GNOME Team (Glen Watabayashi, Caitlin O'Connor, William Lehr, Robert Jones, Chris Barker, Amy MacFadyen, Jeff Lankford, and Debra Simecek-Beatty) received the award for the multi-year effort to build a new interface and much new capability for OR&R's flagship trajectory modeling tool for spill response. Chris Barker accepted the award for the team.
