JANUARY 22, 2016--On January 21, 2016, OR&R staff met with the Puget Soundkeeper organization to discuss current and common priorities.

With a focus on pollution monitoring and prevention, Soundkeeper was very interested to learn about NOAA’s role in the response framework and tools such as ERMA and CAMEO. Topics of discussion also included public communication tactics and the possible use of citizen science. In the future, we hope to partner with Soundkeeper in helping distribute OR&R’s products and expertise throughout the Puget Sound region.
