Successful 4th Hawaii Marine Debris Action Plan Workshop

JULY 29, 2016--Forty marine debris stakeholders at the federal, state, city and county, and community level attended a successful fourth Hawaii Marine Debris Action Plan Workshop July 25-27, held at the NOAA Inouye Regional Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Hosted by the NOAA Marine Debris Program, workshop attendees collaborated to create the next two-year action plan that strategically addresses the marine debris issue in Hawaii. Since the creation of the first action plan six years ago, the plan has continued to evolve, connect partners, and improve coordination and communication.
