Two OR&R Alumni Graduate From NOAA Leadership Competencies Development Program

JANUARY 29, 2016--OR&R is proud to congratulate Brendan Bray and Commander Liz Kretovic on their graduation from the NOAA Leadership Competencies Development Program (LCDP).

Brendan and Liz spent 18 months developing leadership skills with a select group of 25 other NOAA classmates from across the agency that make up LCDP IX, A Rising Tide. LCDP provides a series of training and learning experiences for a cadre of NOAA employees who have high potential for assuming greater leadership responsibilities in the agency. The program promotes cross-line, multidisciplinary experiences that broaden participants' understanding of NOAA's strategic vision, mission, and goals, as well as its business processes. The graduation ceremony, attended by Dr. Sullivan and the rest of NOAA Leadership, took place in the NOAA Auditorium in Silver Spring on January 29, 2016. Please congratulate them on their accomplishment.

The next LCDP call for applications will open on Tuesday, February 9 - Thursday, March 3, 2016. The LCDP is a competitive 18-month leadership development program.
