OR&R Offers SCAT Class in Pensacola, FL

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Emergency Response Division (NOAA’s ERD) and the Gulf of Mexico Disaster Response Center (DRC) are pleased to offer a Shoreline Cleanup Assessment Technique (SCAT) Team Member Level course from October 11-13, 2016 in Pensacola Beach, Florida.

This course is focused on providing responders with the skills necessary to be a successful member of a SCAT Team. This course will outline methods for conducting shoreline assessments and incorporating the results into the decision-making process for shoreline cleanup at oil spills.
