Stella Wilson is the newest member of the National Marine Fisheries Service Restoration Center .
She joined the Restoration Center team from Dewberry Engineers where she held a position as Environmental Scientist and primarily worked on RESTORE Act Multi-Year Plans in Florida as well as watershed management plans in southern Alabama. Prior to joining Dewberry in 2014, Stella served as the Conservation Program Manager, Environmental Specialist, and Planning Manager for the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida from 2008 to 2014. Stella has a diverse background and broad range of experience in long range planning, environmental policy & compliance, and project administration. Stella received her M.S. in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida in 2015 and her B.S. in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of Florida in 2008. Stella is a Gulf Coast (Florida) native and thoroughly enjoys working with communities to plan and implement important projects. In her "spare" time, Stella enjoys kayaking, SUP, camping, bicycling, Zumba, reading, concerts, and spending time with her 13 year old son.
