CANCELLED: Science of Oil Spills (SOS) Class - Seattle

NOAA OR&R oil spill scientists and guest speakers from other agencies
Monday, September 20, 2021 to Friday, September 24, 2021

Science of Oil Spills (SOS) classes help spill responders increase their understanding of oil spill science when analyzing spills and making risk-based decisions. They are designed for new and mid-level spill responders.

Due to scheduling conflicts and the unknown status of opening NOAA's Western Regional Center, the SOS class scheduled in Seattle has been cancelled for this year.

There remain many concerns about COVID-19 worldwide, including travel restrictions. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update the SOS Classes page when classes are scheduled again. You can also watch for announcements on Facebook or Twitter.
