Marine Debris Program Presents to University of Hawai‘i at Hilo TCBES Master's Seminar

FEB. 22, 2022 –  On February 7th, the NOAA Marine Debris Program’s Pacific Island Regional Coordinator, Mark Manuel, provided a virtual presentation to the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo (UH-Hilo) Tropical Conservation Biology and Environmental Science (TCBES) graduate seminar series. 

Mark shared information about regional marine debris prevention and removal projects, marine debris challenges and opportunities shared by communities across the Pacific, as well as the importance of community engagement in these remote locations.
