Natural Resource Damage Assessment Presentation at Savannah State University

OCTOBER 13, 2020 — On the evening of September 29, ARD's Southeast Regional Manager Kevin Kirsch provided the Savannah State University's Coastal Zone Management Class an introduction to the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) process.

The discussion covered science, economics, the history of NRDA, and the statutes and regulations authorizing the process.  

Besides the discussion on NRDA, this was an opportunity to speak with the graduate level students on the NOAA mission and what a career in applied science and public service looks like.
