This award recognizes exceptional Employee Resource Group contributions to diversity, equality, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives across NOAA. DPAWG was selected for its recommendations to NOAA leadership to increase the diversity of recruits into a Leadership and Career Development Program and improve the inclusivity of the training program. These efforts are necessary to help break down barriers and facilitate pathways to leadership within NOAA.

DPAWG’s recommendations to leadership have resulted in substantive changes for the next cohort of the Leadership and Career Development Program. For this work, DPAWG is highly deserving of this national Diversity Impact Award!

Learn more about this group’s work, and how to get involved, on the DPAWG website.
