OR&R Participates in NOAA Washington Congressional Rountable
JUNE 15, 2018 — On June 8, Dave Wesley participated in the NOAA Washington Congressional Roundtable held at the Western Regional Center in Seattle, Washington.
The roundtable provided an opportunity for NOAA leadership, staff, and partners to engage with staffers representing the Washington congressional delegation and discuss environment and weather issues affecting the state. Staff representing Senator Cantwell and Representatives Kilmer, DelBene, Herrera-Beutler, Heck, Smith, and Jayapal participated in the roundtable. Dave Wesley discussed OR&R's local marine debris grants and DARRP cases, environmental sensitivity index maps, and general information on the Disaster Preparedness Program.
