OR&R Assessment and Restoration Division with the Waterfront Alliance in New York

MAY 12, 2017--The Waterfront Alliance, is a coalition of more than 950 organizations and a sponsor of the 2017 Waterfront Conference: Measuring Our Harbor: Strong, Healthy, and Open held on the Hudson River on May 10, 2017.


The Waterfront Alliance's mission is to protect, transform, and revitalize the NY/NJ harbor and waterfront with a shared vision to make the NY/NJ waterfront accessible for boating and recreation, ecologically healthy, resilient to climate change, and a source of good-paying jobs. The conference focused on policy and regulation, infrastructure, megaprojects, waterfront edge design, outreach and education and was attended by Congressional Rep. Nydia Velazquez and the mayors of New York City and Newark, Bill De Blasio and Ras Baraka.
