OR&R Presents at the Hudson River Foundation

MAY 15, 2015--The Hudson River Foundation sponsors a monthly seminar series with the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary Program. The seminars focus on scientific issues of the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary related to environmental quality and resource management. The New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary is one of 28 estuaries of national significance. On May 19, 2015, Jay Field is scheduled to give a seminar on recent work that re-evaluated model projections of the persistent industrial chemicals known as PCBs in Hudson River estuary fish called, “Re-Visiting Model Projections of Lower Hudson River Fish PCBs Using Model Emulation and Recent Data.” This work used a model emulation approach and data collected after the cleanup remedy was selected for the Hudson River PCBs Superfund site.
