OCT. 23, 2015 — From Oct.19 - 22, 2015, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill trustees hosted the first three of eight public meetings to receive public comments on the recently released /Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Draft Programmatic Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan and Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement and Consent Decree.

Factsheets on the Draft Restoration Plan and the Consent Decree were also provided. Jean Cowan of NOAA’s Restoration Center and Steve O’Rourke from Department of Justice then gave an hour-long presentation on the Draft Restoration Plan and Consent Decree.
