Showcasing Marine Debris Science in Seattle

MAY 18, 2018 — On May 9, Peter Murphy, Alaska Regional Coordinator for the Marine Debris Program, hosted a table and gave a short presentation at the Pacific Science Center Science Showcase.

The event was an opportunity for Science Center volunteers and partners to interact with new exhibits and information, as well as information from local scientists in the Science Communication Fellow program. Peter Murphy hosted a table, demonstrating interactive learning activities, and gave a short presentation focusing on emerging issues and local activities in marine debris.
