Marine Debris Program's "Trash Talk" Video Wins Regional Emmy Award!

JULY 1, 2016--Last week, the NOAA Marine Debris Program and Ocean Today received a Regional Emmy® for the 15-minute video, Trash Talk.

This special feature explains what marine debris is, how it affects our ocean, and what people can do to prevent it. It's an important acknowledgment of the value of increasing public awareness about the issue of marine debris. The video won in the category of "Informational/Instructional - Program/Special".
