MARCH 10, 2017--Last week NOAA's Marine Debris Program led an action plan workshop at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center in Erie, PA.

Approximately 25 partners from around the region worked to review the status of the Great Lakes Land-based Marine Debris Action Plan. Originally laid out as a five year strategic plan to address marine debris in the region, this mid-plan workshop was successful in identifying successes, challenges, and revisions to the action plan to date.
