Marine Debris Program Raises Awareness of Marine Debris at Cedar Point Amusement Park

JUNE 6, 2022 ⁠— On May 9, NOAA Marine Debris Program staff participated in Cedar Point Amusement Park's Physics, Math, and Science Days.

In partnership with The Ohio State University's Stone Laboratory, approximately 175 people were educated on marine debris issues in Lake Erie and how they each can make personal decisions to reduce their waste and prevent marine debris.
