NOAA Marine Debris Program Looks to the Future with New Strategic Plan

OCTOBER 16, 2015--The NOAA Marine Debris Program has launched a new strategic plan to lead it into the future to combat marine debris.

Since its inception in 2006, the NOAA Marine Debris Program has strived to help find solutions to the marine debris problem through research, removal and prevention efforts. The program looks forward to working with partners at the federal, state, local, and international levels. Moving into the tenth year, the program has refined its vision and set out a strategic plan that will target our efforts to solve the immense problem of marine debris.

For more information, take a look at the FY 2016-2020 Strategic Plan to see some of our goals for the future.
