OR&R Presents at Virtual Joint Safety and Environmental Professional Development Symposium
April 26, 2021—On April 20, 2021, Lieutenant Commander Faith Knighton, scientific support coordinator for the Pacific Northwest, presented an Office of Response and Restoration and Emergency Response Division overview at the virtual 29th Annual Joint Safety and Environmental Professional Development Symposium hosted by the Naval Safety and Environmental Training Center.
This year’s virtual conference featured meetings, keynote speakers, and breakout sessions on 100+ topics that included safety, occupational health and environmental tracks. The virtual meetings and sessions provided attendees from federal employees to federal contractors and students pursuing coursework in related fields with an opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and continuing education credits without the burden of travel or conference costs.
