For the past nine years, Brandi has served as an On-Scene Coordinator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Brandi coordinated the federal response to chemical emergencies, which can include train derailments, oil spills, chemical fires, hurricanes and more. She has worked with a number of NOAA Scientific Support Coordinators on previous responses, such as Deepwater Horizon. Working on this spill left a lasting impression on her--the collaboration, adrenaline, and long hours contributed to an exhilarating response.

Brandi has a Master's degree in Marine Science and double Bachelor degrees in Biomedical Science and Marine Biology. This background in scientific response and her knowledge of the various agencies and offices involved will provide her with a great head start as she dives into her new work with OR&R.

Outside of the office, Brandi has come to appreciate aerial sports, like Cirque du Soleil. She finds it to be a wonderful mix of gymnastics, dance, and strength.

Welcome to the team, Brandi!
