OR&R Supports Training in U.S. Coast Guard District 9
NOV. 7, 2022 — For the first time in three years, U.S. Coast Guard District 9 held an Incident Management Team round-up training event in Camp Grayling, Michigan.

Coast Guard junior officers fulfilling roles across District 9 Incident Management Divisions gathered for team building, updates about NOAA scientific support and NOAA training, and District 9 announcements.
NOAA scientific support coordinator for the Great Lakes, Lieutenant Commander Rachel Pryor, presented on the scientific support that NOAA can provide; updates to NOAA’s online mapping tool, ERMA® (Environmental Response Management Application); and a review of methods for accessing Environmental Sensitivity Index maps and data during a response.
