U.S. Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound Visits OR&R
APRIL 27, 2018 — OR&R's Seattle home team hosted a group of new and seasoned spill response personnel from the United States Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound.

The visit was intended to introduce new responders to the region's Scientific Support Coordinator, and to showcase the strength and capabilities of the Scientific Support Team. The group received brief introductions to the many products and services NOAA can provide during a spill event, and met the scientists who create them. The visit demonstrated the strong inter-agency relationship between NOAA and the USCG and strengthened regional connections in the spill response community.
