Lecture: Sea Turtles During Oil Spill Response
We hope you can join this lecture — part of the monthly lecture series, You Don't Know What You Don't Know!
In this month's episode, we'll learn from Lyndsey Howell of the National Marine Fisheries Service's Office of Protected Resources. Lyndsey is a Sea Turtle Mortality Investigator and the Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network State Coordinator for Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. She will discuss the considerations that take place for sea turtles during an oil spill response.
Mark your calendar for this month's lecture on the third Thursday of the month at noon PT — and please feel free to share the series with others in the professional spill planning, response, and environmental science communities.
