SCAT training is conducted throughout the country for the U.S. Coast Guard and state governments. These training events are not offered on a set schedule, and are not available to the general public. SCAT classes are coordinated through OR&R's regional Scientific Support Coordinators (SSCs), who are co-located with the U.S. Coast Guard District Offices around the country.

If you are a spill responder/planner who is interested in SCAT training, your NOAA SSC is the best source of information for SCAT training events in your region. You can find contact information for SSCs on the OR&R Field Staff page.
